Kien Pham says:

go to apple pay 200

Kalpani Nisansala says:

good job i downloaded ur videos. from Sri lanka.

Yoram Stein says:

Bought an Acer liquid Jad phone here in Amsterdam NL for just  US$160 works as good as IPhone(6) I've compaired it to. 13Meg pix cam +5Meg front cam, 5inch HD screen, upgradable memory, 1.3Ghz proc w 1Gb work mem . Dual sim slots  7.9 mm thin . Just get yourself new shiny smelly phone clean – no scratches, last android software -when your old phone is screwd . The business people between us have no problem buy a new Apple (deductible) but  students or people with limited budjet should avoid that crazy trend. Luis you see things right ! liked and saved your latest video about stock investing and be cautious of Apple stock too. Happy Chritmas & Chanuca all.

Cjcbd1120 says:

I think he right about trends especially in technology. I started buying and selling phones 3 years ago it was a good time to do it. Now carriers and manufactures are doing buy backs and although I cant draw up a spread sheet I can just see the trend. But if your separating just the glass from the LCD then there's still a lot of room for profit I could even see you buying lcds with broken glass in bulk fixing the glass and getting a better part for cheaperYou defiantly have to be resourceful in any business. Remember he didn't say its a DEAD business but that its DYING and hes probably right

Manny Fit says:

Refurbish your own lcd's. Crazy profits.

stricklerville says:

Another reason any screen repair service is dying is because the screens are going to be tougher like the Droid 2 Turbo.

paul rowland says:

If screens did become unviable. I would continue with all the other repairs I do. Let people charge what they're happy with. If they're that cheap they probably taking a lot of your custom. And you seem really bitter about it.

7oracle says:

It costs $750 to get apple to repair the screen on the 7 plus here in Australia. The screen costs $450. That's a pretty decent margin for independent repairers.

Jamie Carter says:

You were wrong on this one, Louis. I remember seeing this video when you first uploaded and was actually worried. The screen prices did come back down (even though I rarely use them cheap screens now) I actually have my genuine iphone screens refurbished for me. Since this video I earn more money now than I did back then…I still have iphone 4/4s phones brought to me all these years later, so on that basis with the 5,5c,5s,se,6,6plus,6,6s and 6s plus…there's still plenty more years left in this game. That's not even including ipad screen repairs.

Ali Abdelamir says:

No offense but you're missing a huge point, original lcds are very profitable, so even if part costs 25 for iPhone six, old lcd easily sells for 20$ or you can refurbish it if you have the machinery. Only the new phones aren't profitable from until the price goes down a bit like iPhone 7/7+. really right now the most profitable phones to fix are 6 and six Plus.

Gavin Hanson says:

I fixed 8 iPhone 6 lcds today at my shop. Charged $120 a piece & the screens costed me $25 a piece. What exactly is dying with those margins??

VoiceSriLanka says:

The Reason for Apple to repair the Screen is because of the ICLOUD Lock.

This is how much apple charges in UK. We charge £60 for IPhone 6 and £80 for 6 Plus all the screens are AAA Tianma. Still its not a dying business.

Remember as time goes they will have different devices, different features different screens, We all will survive.

We must thank apple though, They made all of the repairers Rich in a way. Including You Luise. Imagine if you are fixing the Microsoft Junks? Who would watch your Channel ?

So Thumbs up to Steve Jobs!!!

Not to forget you are doing a great job Louise.

James Bond says:

Iphone 6 screen replacement, out of applecare in canada is $389 and $349 for all the 5 models… which is ludicrous. I would definitley pay someone to replace the screen….

Daniel K says:

I own an iPhone repair business and make bank. You don't know what you're talking about

XxJUSTINxX says:

MacBooks in the back much?

Alton Kilbourne says:

why are you cussing i was going to send my iPhone 5S to repaired at your shop not now your dumbass is not professional

Kien Pham says:

UK and USA iPhone repair is dying

Darin Ferguson says:

Food for thought. Let's think about a different industry.
Jiffy lube $31-$35 bucks to do an oil change. My dealership $25-$27 bucks. Jiffy lube probably uses the CHEAPEST filter and oil. It's a model about VOLUME of customers and convince.
1 Apple Store here you have to make an appointment (which is usually 3-4 days out) or walk into my shop and be done same day most time under an hour.
2 how close is the Apple store?
(There is a Walgreens on EVERY CORNER!)
I for sure believe I'm better than Apple Store. And will charge more because time is money. iPhone 6 out my door with upsales 210 all day long

Sabino Rodriguez says:

So every iPhone repair place should close?
