If your screen is black, but you can tell that the phone is still working fine under the screen, you can replace the screen and it should start working again. Phones get wet. Whether it falls in the toilet, takes a swim in the lake, or just gets wet from the rain… There is always something you can do to try and fix a phone that wont turn on anymore. The battery is usually the first thing that gets damaged when water gets into your phone.

As soon as your phone gets wet, put it in a bag full of rice for at least 42 hours. This will help draw out the moisture from your device.

If the phone does not turn on after that, you can try a simple battery replacement. This has a good chance of bringing your device back to life again.
